Rivermint (Mentha australis) was used by the ewarly settlers on their roastlamb. It has been a subtle spearmint flavour and aroma.
It can be used as a direct substitute for your regular mint.
Over the years, Aboriginal people used as an inhalent and to relieve headaches.
