High potency, non-acidic form of Vitamin C with synergistic antioxidant nutrients. Vitamin C can help relieve the symptoms of colds, allergies and mild upper respiratory complaints. Over the long term, this formula can help maintain healthy gums and participate in the body’s wound healing process. This great-tasting, tangy orange-flavoured formula is non-acidic, making it suitable for sensitive stomachs.
Dosage:
Adults and children: 2 g (1 heaped spoon) per day in water or juice
Maximum adult or acute conditions: 14g in divided doses (7 heaped spoonfuls - 1 heaped spoon every 2 hours) in water or juice per day
Free from:
Lactose, dairy, salt, saccharin, wheat, gluten, artificial flavours, colours and preservatives
Ingredients (per 2g dose):
- Calcium ascorbate 900mg (equiv. ascorbic acid 743.5mg)
- Citrus bioflavonoids 25mg
- Betacarotene 1mg
- d-alpha tocopheryl acid succinate 20mg (equiv. Vitamin E 20 IU)
- Zinc (as citrate) 3.27mg
Warnings:
High doses of Vitamin C (usually greater 5g daily) may cause flatulence and mild diarrhea when the absorption threshold is reached. Reduce dose if this is experienced. Not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice. Contains sugars. Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
