Black seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the Nigella sativa plant, using the cold pressed method of extraction. It currently ranks as one of the most extensively studied plant species in the world, with many therapeutic qualities evidenced by the numerous clinical studies performed. Its main active constituent, Thymoquinone, may have multiple useful effects in the treatment of several dis-eases, such as cardiovascular & respiratory disorders. Its many therapeutic benefits may include bronchodilator, antihypertensive, anti-diabetic & cholesterol lowering properties.
