FAQs
WHY METHYLFOLATE INSTEAD OF FOLIC ACID?
Methylfolate is the active form of folate your body can absorb and use directly. Folic acid is synthetic and requires conversion in the body, a process that isn't equally efficient for everyone. Methylfolate removes that step entirely.
WHY IS CHOLINE INCLUDED, AND HOW MUCH DOES IT HAVE?
Choline is essential for foetal brain and nervous system development, yet 90-95% of pregnant women don't get enough from diet alone. Prenatal Support [Her] contains 600mg of choline per daily dose, the highest of any Australian prenatal supplement.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER AUSTRALIAN PRENATALS?
The formulation goes beyond minimum regulatory standards. It includes 600mg choline, methylfolate rather than folic acid, and lutein and zeaxanthin found in no other Australian prenatal. Formulated by a fertility nutritionist with years of clinical practice.
IS THIS TGA APPROVED?
Yes. Prenatal Support [Her] is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG 522592) and manufactured in Australia under GMP standards.
DO I NEED TO TAKE ANYTHING ELSE ALONGSIDE IT?
For most women, Prenatal Support [Her] covers the key nutritional bases for preconception, pregnancy and postpartum. Individual needs vary. If you have specific health conditions or deficiencies, speak with your healthcare practitioner.
