Modifilan is a dietary supplement made from the richest variety of natural, wild-grown, brown seaweed. It was developed following the Chernobyl disaster to provide an organic and natural way to assist with the elimination of unwanted heavy metals, especially mercury and lead. To make Modifilan, raw seaweed Laminaria is hand-harvested in the wild natural habitat where it grows to a size large enough to extract the inner part of the leaves. Modifilan is referred to as an extract, but basically it is the dried, concentrated juice of brown seaweed. It is a simple and absolutely natural product, a true whole food substance that is not formulated.
Modifilan is made from Brown seaweed Laminaria that grows wild in pure waters of the Atlantic ocean. The patented technology of physical extraction and low-temperature vacuum evaporation processing extracts only the inner, water soluble, part of the Laminaria leaf.
This enhances minerals, vitamins and polysaccharides for easier digestion and better results. The removal of the heavy outer fiber also increases the remaining extract's digestibility and bioavailability. After that, the extract is encapsulated and bottled.
