TUDCA is a bile acid and has a horrible taste and smell; this is normal and is a sign of supplemental purity.
Is this TUDCA made from Bear Bile?
- NO this TUDCA is NOT made from bear bile. It is a synthetic compound that is manufactured using a very precise process.
- This process was developed and has been used in Japan since 1954 and is just as powerful if not more powerful than it’s original source (bear bile).
- LVLUP Health do not and will never condone the use of bears in the manufacturing of this product.

Taste and Smell
TUDCA has a very potent Acetone-like smell and horrible taste. This is because TUDCA is a bile acid and LVLUP Health do not use excipients or fillers in their products.
The smell and taste being so strong is indicative of the purity and quality of the product and is nothing to be concerned about; this taste is why LVLUP Health encapsulate it, but the smell is unavoidable!
